Welcome Campers & Parents/Caregivers,
Here’s what you need to know about The Real Greek Myths Camp:
What campers need to bring:

Supplies: Campers do not need to bring any supplies.
Packets of stories and writing materials will be provided.
Snacks: Students may bring refreshments for a snack break.  I will also have refreshments on hand in case of emergencies.  Plenty of water is suggested.
NOTICE: Camp will be a nut free environment.
Sun screen: Campers are expected to have sunscreen for when we are outside in the
amphitheater.

Where to drop off and pick up:

Campers may be dropped off in the curved driveway in front of the main entrance of MHS between 11:50am and 12:00pm.
Campers may be picked up at 3:00pm in the curved driveway in front of the main entrance of MHS.

Daily Activities:

12:00pm - Campers arrive.
12:05pm - Campers will discuss a topic, read aloud, and discuss several myths.
Campers will sometimes watch versions of Greek myths and discuss what they
mean. Each week will be devoted to learning about different/new myths.
1:30pm - Campers will enjoy a snack break.
1:45pm - Campers will spend time in a computer room to write about myths.
Campers will also spend time, on cooler days, in the Amphitheater acting out
myths.
Each week will culminate in campers writing and sharing their own myths.
