Welcome Parents,

I am looking forward to a fun and exciting summer teaching the skills of Metal Working to your children and making lots of projects!

We will have reduced size classes and social distancing will be enforced as well as wearing masks at all times inside the shop/school. Please consider face masks that have a metal strip to adjust nose- Safety glasses may tend to fog up if the mask is not form fitting on top of nose. Students will have safety glasses and gloves available for use, but I would suggest purchasing your own pair of leather unlined work gloves and either safety glasses or a face shield. In addition: please supply your child with a sharpie/marker and pencil. These items can be found at one of the big box stores (Home Depot) or on Amazon.

Please make sure that each child wears clothes that can get dirty and closed toed shoes each day. Also, send a bagged lunch (with a drink) for your child and a beach towel. Students will eat outside on a grassy area or on the side of the parking lot. (Please be aware that this is a peanut free environment).

Parents can drop off and pick up outside of the Auto Shop (Room 17), located at the bottom of the parking lot off of Midland Avenue once they fill out the walking home form and emergency form on the first day of camp.
